Below is a list of the projects subject to final approval by the CRA:

Social Breeding Farms

The aim of our group is the creation of a breeding farm, where we would strive to maintain, raise and reproduce animals such as cows, quails, pigs, chickens and rabbits for meat, milk and cheese.

A Social Project with the intent of:

– Producing high-quality meat to supply our social structures
– Contribute to the financial autonomy of our social works
– Commercialize controlled meat at communal prices
–  Offer work to single mothers and people in serious economic difficulties

It is known that the use of contaminated and uncontrolled meat is a means of contracting contagious diseases. The objective of this project is to provide the local population with an intact and controlled food product that complies with international regulations of hygiene.

The choice of personnel to be assigned to this facility will be entrusted to an ethics committee, which will select the workers by giving priority to:

– unwed mothers without income;
– Family Heads of multiproblematic family groups.

This project has a multi-purpose function which is to face different issues such as social, health, foodand economic factors that often lead to the non-care, abandonment or death of many children.

Franscesco Forgione Secondary school

Bonouà is the city where public and private schools are located, but to get there the students of the neighboring villages have to travel a few kilometers of insidious road and traffic by cars travelling at high speeds. Needless to say, this itinerary, done seve ral times a day, is not at all safe. Moreover, the academic level of high schools present in Bonoua leaves much to be desired: between the lack of valid programs, the teachers’ strikes and the malfunctioning of the public school system, the results are far from excellent.

YAOU is one of the most populated villages in absolute, with a prevalence of young people in need who could not continue their studies. In order to support the many young people in need, it was decided, by unanimous decision, to design and build a private school, with staff and teachers with excellent training and, where the percentage of paying students, will help support the annual fee of forty poor students.

Pedals for Progress Campaign

For the many who have had the opportunity to visit Africa, you may have certainly been intrigued by seeing minors, of all ages, in school uniform walking on the roadside. In rural areas, far from populated centers, children are forced to get up at dawn, travel miles to be in class at the right time to attend classes.

BICYCLE AND STUDY, is a project aimed at the collection of new bicycles, and in particular those that are generally abandoned in garages because children have grown up. When 1,000 bikes have beencollected, they will be sent to Côte d’Ivoire and will be donated to families who live in villages far from the schools. We know that a family has an average of six children; considering the ingenuity of African children, we are sure that a bicycle will be able to transport at least three or even four children who will go to school more quickly and safely.

Professional Training
“Fighting poverty through development” is possible because “there is a close relationship between the well-being of the individual and the development of the community”.

Giving Education means providing people with the skills and potentialities that will lead them to economic independence and social affirmation and to fight, where possible, the need to migrate to difficult lands in search of a seemingly better life.

The Organization has been collaborating for some years with Professional Centers in the Ivory Coast. This cooperation has allowed the development of a three-year project, to be allocated to 100 willing young people who do not have the possibility to continue their studies. Females and males will have access to qualified professional training in specific sectors such as: plumber, electrician, mason, carpenter and mechanic.

Our organization covers all the costs of the courses of study and training up to the attainment of the qualification. These professional courses have an international value and therefore offer enormous job opportunities, which will bring real change in the life of those who take part.

Since 2012, thanks to our contribution, 105 young people have completed three years of training and have obtained jobs.
